CIJS Special Programs

Check Out the Following Special Programs Currently at CIJS

We are all very exciting with these programs at CIJS. Below are description on these “Special Areas” classes your kids are having a blast in. Please visit them at Facebook to get the latest news and activities your kids are not telling you about. They think this is their secret to keep.

AGRICULTURE

Have you seen Tom and Jerry, our turkeys? We are so lucky to have them and Mr. Sweeny. They are a great addition as well as CIJS implements this amazing onsite agriculture experience for our kids.

Agricultural education will prepare students to be problem solvers, leaders, and entrepreneurs, through the use of its three-circle model. Classroom and laboratory instruction, leadership development, and experiential learning all combine to offer students a well-rounded aspect to their education that will prepare them for college and the workforce, as well as teach them to be educated consumers. The CIJS agricultural component promotes hands on learning and responsibility, through the care of animals and gardens. The program introduces students to specific principles in nutrition, physiology, behavior, and reproduction.
